Tri-Motus Physio Services
Exceeding Your Expectations
Physiotherapy
Using only evidence-based methods we treat and work on prevention strategies to improve and eliminate muscle pain or joint discomfort and disorders. Hands-on treatments are used to reduce pain and stiffness through manual therapies including joint manipulation and clinical massage. Rehabilitation is then continued with prescribed exercises to ensure movement, mobility and strength are adequately restored.
Physiotherapy provides a natural solution to repair damage, improve strength, mobility and stability and reduce pain and stiffness associated with conditions such as:
Neck and back pain
Nerve related injuries
Musculoskeletal injuries
Core instabilities
Sports injuries
Post-operative rehabilitation
Return to work, worker’s compensation and injury treatment programs
Pre and post natal care
Headaches
Private health rebates can be claimed on the spot through Hicaps

Pilates
Pilates is a total body exercise, which was developed close to one hundred years ago by Joseph Pilates to rehabilitate injured WW1 soldiers and later, for strength and conditioning of dancers and has since become a hugely popular method to strengthen all kinds of people. Pilates is suitable for athletes, teenagers, the elderly, pre and post natal women, tradesmen, people recovering from a serious injury or surgery and anyone in between.
The traditional method is low-impact making it safe for everyone. It focuses on flexibility, muscular strength and endurance. The exercises are performed with an emphasis on precision technique; balanced postural alignment; core strength; controlled, flowing movements; and using breath to center the mind.
Sessions can vary in intensity depending on the capabilities and requirements of the individual: they can be anything from a gentle strength training program to a more intense, dynamic, challenging workout.
Pilates sessions can be undertaken privately (one-to-one) or in small groups of 3. All our sessions are mat based, using just the body for resistance, or small piece of equipment such as a band, ball or Pilates circle.

Personal Training
For more intense exercise therapy we offer Personal Training sessions under Physiotherapy guidance. These sessions will include a Physiotherapy assessment, discussion of client goals and subsequently the development of suitable programs which may include pilates based exercises, resistance bands, Kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls, fitballs, bodyweight and cardiovascular exercises. Personal training session goals may include:
Muscle toning and strengthening
Rehabilitation
Spinal support strengthening and back pain management
Weight Loss Training Programs
Specialist Gestational Fitness: Pre-conception, pre-natal, perinatal and post natal training
Cardiovascular reconditioning
Balance programs for all ages and abilities including the elderly
* These sessions are closely linked with Physiotherapy skills therefore sessions may be claimable through private health funds
